Supporting a construction firm’s response to supply chain requests for ESG information in the pharmaceutical industry
Challenges: A construction firm who found themselves increasingly facing requests from clients in the pharmaceutical industry for specific ESG information reached out to Altanova to help them collect and translate results into meaningful responses. Specific requests ranged across several established frameworks including Science Based Targets and EcoVadis, while some requested calculations of relative emissions responsibility based on revenue proportions.
Approach: The Altanova team was able to work in collaboration with several internal departments at the client firm in order to help uncover and make sense of their emissions responsibilities based on their role in these projects. By leveraging our understanding of this industry, we were able to lead this collection process and provide useful guidance for how to manage these requests going forward.
