Energy Efficiency for a Large Telecom Company
Altanova performed energy assessments at 4 key facilities in New York City for the world’s second-largest telecommunication company.
Approach
Altanova performed benchmarking and utility analysis to identify areas of improvement. Next, energy audits were performed at each facility to identify retro-commissioning and energy efficiency measures, and energy models were created to estimate anticipated energy and cost savings.
Altanova also identified products and vendors to implement the solutions and inspections to ensure implementation quality.
Results
Our energy assessment uncovered opportunities for deep reductions in energy and water expenditure at each facility, in addition to improvements in operational efficiency. Some of the measures we recommended have already been implemented with our guidance, while others are awaiting internal approval.
